How Taipan Masterclass started
TAIPAN Masterclass was created by EO Malaysia 21 years ago, started by Meer Habib who was inspired by the learning received by his forum mate, James Ng, after he attended EO’s Birthing of Giants (BOG) Program in Boston. From then on, year on year, EO Malaysia strived to bring some of the best from all over the world to come share their best business management, leadership, personal transformation and growth techniques and tools.

Design a new innovation that adds significant new revenue and value to your core business or create a new innovation that can replace the core ( eg Helps you reinvent your business )

IMAGINE
Working on a pressing issue within their business, multiple small groups of participants (5-7 people) explore the ideal goals; concretely identifying future goals helps to drive and define the right strategic question to ask

DISSECT
While focusing on the same pressing issue, participants explore the full breadth of leverage points and decide in which areas the strategy should focus

Applying the successful strategies used by top- tier companies, participants brainstorm multiple potential solutions

Sorting through the ideas, group ensure that they create to explore seemingly crazy ideas, ultimately reaching clarity on a set of innovative ideas or their proposed strategy

Tour 1: Batu Caves Walking Tour

In this tour, we will lead you into the belly of Batu Caves while unfolding Hindu culture and traditions, such as the Nine Stars, (“九曜星“). We will climb up the iconic 272 stairs to see breath-taking city skylines at the top. Within the cave, we will see the paintings of Hindu Gods on the walls, the Hindu priests, ornate shrines as well as the monkeys that frolic around. Along the way, our guide will give an insight into the culture. We will spend the morning admiring the magnificence of Batu Caves, which attracts thousands of pilgrims especially during the Tamil Month of Thai. On special occasions, there may be Hindu rituals taking place.
Tour 2: Petaling Street Walking Tour

Uncover the history of Petaling Street, its street names, stories, religions and centennial shophouses. Along the street, you get to see the old buildings that still remain and the older generation who live here or sell fresh food. Join a heritage walk that takes you back to 19th century Klang Town! Known as the Royal Town, Klang is rich with history and culture, remaining as one of Selangor’s unique towns.
This heritage walk is a journey through Klang in the 19th century. Walk to many of historical buildings including the century-old fire station with an interesting mini-museum, and Gedung Abdullah, a warehouse which has lots of interesting tin mining stories. See the exhibitions of the late Selangor Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah at the Royal Gallery.
Explore the once Chartered Bank turned Chennai Silk departmental store and the Klang KTM Station. On the way we will see interesting sunset old trades and try hands-on activities (subject to availability). Share with you origins of Bak Kut Teh, the stories of the black crow and how the name Klang came about. Experience some local authentic flavours of foods besides our famous Bak Kut Teh.
