It is my great pleasure to introduce IPH Services Sdn Bhd (IPHS). This company was incorporated in October 2020 with the charter investors from key private medical practitioners and also three major private medical practitioners’ associations namely the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners’ Associations, Malaysia (FPMPAM), Private Medical Practitioners’ Association of Selangor & Kuala Lumpur (PMPASKL), Perak Medical Practitioners’ Society (PMPS).
IPHS provides the corporate platform for the provision of safe, quality, ethical and affordable healthcare for patients via its network of Preferred Provider Clinics. In IPHS, we work to bring patient and healthcare services directly to doctors via partnership with relevant pharmaceutical, healthcare and other entities.
Together with the FPMPAM and its sister societies nationwide, the Preferred Provider Clinics (PPC) are tasked with the mutual objective of prioritising health outcomes for patients at optimal costs.
PPCs are wired to provide prompt and professional medical care and treatment to patients with compassion, , diligence and efficiency, in accordance with the MMC guidelines on “Good Medical Practice” .The staff, employees, servants and agents of PPCs are expected to serve in the same manner.
Dr Steven Chow is the Executive Chairman of IPH Services Sdn Bhd. He is also the president of the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners Associations, Malaysia (FPMPAM), President of the Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia (AMAM) and the Founding Chairman of the medical outreach program “DRS forALL”. Currently he is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist and Head of Dermatology at the Pantai Hospital KL and operates a private practice at the KL Skin Centre.
Dato Dr Lim Boon Sho serves as a Director of IPH Services Sdn Bhd. He is also the Vice President of the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners Association of Malaysia (FPMPAM) and the Vice President of the Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia (AMAM). He was the past President of PENANG Private Medical Practitioners Society (PMPS) and Past Penang State Assemblyman. Currently he is a Senior General Practitioner with a longstanding private practice in Penang.
Dr Leong Yuet Mae serves as the Director of IPH Services Sdn Bhd. She is also the Honorary General Secretary of the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners Association of Malaysia (FPMPAM),and Exco member of the Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia (AMAM) and Private Medical Practitioners’ Association of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur (PMPASKL). Currently she operates her own GP Practice in Sri Hartamas Kuala Lumpur with special interest in family medicine and women’s health. She is in charge of the VazforALL program of the IPHS /PPC.
Dr. Shanmuganathan TV Ganeson serves as a Director of IPH Services Sdn Bhd. He is also the Honorary Secretary of Federation of Private Medical Practitioners Associations Malaysia (FPMPAM), an EXCO member of the Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia (AMAM), and the Chief Operations Officer of DRSforALL. He is an Immediate Past President of the Private Medical Practitioners’ Association of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur (PMPASKL). He is a senior General Practitioner running a solo practice in Kuala Lumpur.
To be the preferred medical provider network of ethical and quality –focused private medical practitioners serving all patients, including corporate employees as well as their family members.
IPHS is the liaison between the corporate employers and/or 3rd party payors and private medical practitioners with the aim of providing safe, quality, ethical and affordable healthcare services with the mutual benefits of the patient, the corporate employers and private medical practitioners in mind.
FPMPAM is the national body representing doctors in private practice in Malaysia. FPMPAM is committed to improve the quality of private health care through continuing medical education, continuing professional development of its members, ethics advocacy and public outreach programs. Founded in 1989, it consists of seven state-level associations and has over 5000 members.

PMPASKL was established in 1961 by Tan Sri Dr. Tan Chee Khoon, with the aim to unite all private medical professionals in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

The Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia (AMAM) was formed in middle of 2006 with its primary objective to develop the science of addiction medicine in Malaysia. Members of AMAM consists of GPs, specialists in addiction medicine and allied healthcare professionals with interest or working in addiction medicine.

The Perak Medical Practitioners’ Society is one of the oldest medical societies in Malaysia. It traces its existence back to 1937 when a keen and dedicated band of private practitioners in Ipoh felt that it would bind them together on medical, professional and social lines. It was agreed to welcome the dental profession to its membership, and to invite practitioners from all over Perak to become members. This Society proved to be the pioneer in this field and its original Constitution formed the basis for the formation of similar societies in other parts of the country.
